Researched on "The Sixth Schedule and the Customary Political Institutions in Meghalaya" under Dr Nabanipa Bhattacharjee, Department of Sociology; examined the historical context to the traditional political institutions in Meghalaya, critically analysed the presence of Autonomous District Councils, the significance of the Inner Line Permit and the politico-legal issues arising from the 6th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
